Third Portfolio Tip

In designing my own electronic professional portfolio I took note of several key elements that are crucial to the Web design process.  In viewing and evaluating various electronic portfolio samples available on the web, I quickly lost interest in pages that were long and contained too much information.

In designing your portfolios keep each page short.  Try to break information into short paragraphs.  Use hyperlinks instead of having one long page.  Hyperlinks are appealing and convenient for viewers.  Viewers do not like to wade through information to find what they are looking for.  Sometimes a long page is inevitable, but try to limit the amount of long pages.  Essentially, you want to make each page user-friendly.
