 TRIP TO S.O. ART GALLERY
On Thursday, June 30, participants in the summer ESL program visited the
Pierro Gallery of South Orange, located at 5 Mead St.  The con- temporary works by  both established and rising artists were an inspiration to everyone who went. The gallery is named in honor of the late Lennie Pierro,  co-founder of the gallery with his wife Judy Wukitsch. He was
recognized for his impact and advocacy of the arts in the Village. Pierro, a fine artist, a longtime South Orange resident, and an active member of the community, sought to bring fine art to his town as a cooper- ative effort between town, the residents and artists. All are encouraged to visit this gem of a collection so close by. The phone number is 973-378-7754. On the web:

  ...FROM HOME

Hello Adrian and all our friends in the Seton Hall Univ. English as a Second Language Program,

How are you?
Guillermo and I have moved back to Costa Rica. We are doing well. We got married last month and are in the process of building a house. Well, it's almost done. Probably one more month and it will be ready. No money left, but very excited to be here and with our families.
We are both working and very happy that we are here. I'll send some pictures of the wedding later. The day of the wedding, we had Guillermo’s sister taking some pictures with 2 digital cameras and for some reason, neither one worked.  I’ll have to scan the other ones.
I hope everything is going well with you.
Take care,
Paola Duarte
