Program Overview
The Department of Education Leadership, Management and Policy
offers a Master of Arts in Human Resources Training and Development
designed primarily for members of the New Jersey and New York
law enforcement communities. Established more than 20 years
ago, the program helps students strengthen their professional
knowledge and skills, while increasing their capacity for leadership
in their respective law enforcement settings. The program is
distinctive in that it allows students to attend classes on-campus
as well as classes at law enforcement sites in northern and
southern New Jersey. In addition to the master’s program,
the department also offers a certificate program for students
who successfully complete 12 credits in either Human Resources
Training and Development or Leadership and Management.
