Graduate Studies & Special Programs
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Keeping in mind the challenges of the next decade and beyond, the Graduate
Studies and Special Programs (GSSP) offers students knowledge and experiences in
the foundations of education, professional education, and interdisciplinary
studies that enhance professional preparation for the 21st century.
Graduate Studies and Special Programs (GSSP) is distinctive in offering students the opportunity to design a master's degree program or educational specialist degree program that meets their specific personal and professional goals. Interdisciplinary approach encourages students to take courses in any college or school at the University. Through well-developed process of advisement, faculty assist students to construct a program that satisfies their interests and career objectives.
Graduate Studies and Special Programs (GSSP)
is a division in the Educational Studies
Department in the College of Education and Human Services at Seton Hall
University (SHU). There are three concentrations and two certificates in the
program:
- Instructional Design and Technology Master of Arts
- School Library Media Specialist
- Professional Development in Education Master of Arts
- Certificate in Information Technologies
- Certificate in Online Course Development and Management

BILLING INFORMATION:
After registration, bills will
be mailed to students, indicating a due date for payment. Tuition cannot be
adjusted, nor a refund made after the day of the second class meeting, prior
to the class session. Students are academically and financially responsible
for all courses for which they register, regardless of class attendance,
unless courses are dropped by add/drop deadlines. Add/drop must be completed
by calling the Director of Continuing Professional Education at 973-275-2721
or in person at the Office of Enrollment Services.
Students may pay their tuition by a variety of methods that will be included with the bill. Installment plans and credit card payments are available.Financial Aid:
